Thank you for teaching me how to use manners. My favorite manner was how to set the tables and how to use the golden rule. I really had a lot of fun. And when I got home I told my parents all about class and told my parents that I loved that class.

Glinda Edmondson, Mannerly Manners Youth and Adult Instructor

“Manners give me the self-confidence to enter and mingle in a room of friends and strangers.” Glinda Jackson Edmondson was raised in the South, where proper manners are the cornerstone of social ranking. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miles College in Sociology and soon began her career as a flight attendant for Southern Airways. Glinda is currently employed as a Purser with Northwest Airlines and enjoys playing golf and tennis.

Dana White, Mannerly Manners Early Childhood and Youth Instructor

Dana is a former elementary and pre-school teacher who believes that manners are a skill and a gift we give to make this world a kinder and gentler place. She’s learned both in and out of the classroom that finding ways to show respect, compassion and understanding help us to live happy and fulfilling lives. As Gandhi said, “You must be the change you wish to see in the world.” As Dana says, “Treating others the way you would like to be treated, with kindness and respect, are lifelong skills that reflect back on all of us.”
